• If you suffer an asthma attack, sit down somewhere quiet and sniff lavender, frankincense, bergamot or roman chamomile directly from the bottle or from a tissue with a few drops sprinkled on it; or use these essential
oils in a room spray.
• Do not do steam inhalations because the heat could aggravate your condition, but moisture is beneficial and repeated boiling of a kettle in your room may be helpful.
• Use regular massage on your upper back and chest with any of the essential oils mentioned above, using 6 drops mixed into 10 ml (2 tsp) of base oil, to try and lessen the severity and frequency of attacks.
